The AMF Australia Foundation was established in 2006 to help support the work of the AMF in Australia. It was publicly launched in December 2007 at a function at Admiralty House, Sydney, by HE The Governor General of Australia Major General Michael Jeffery.

The AMF Australia Foundation receives generous support from a number of individuals and trusts, including the Portland House Foundation, which has enabled it to establish the Guy Parsons Award in honour of one of the AMF’s founding Trustees and long-serving treasurer in the UK.
